From our farmers
This coffee is a mixed selection of green beans from three regions of Guatemala: New Oriente, Cobán and Huehuetenango. They come from an altitude of about 1,600 meters and therefore have the highest quality designation "Strictly Hard Bean". It is grown in a volcanic soil with the perfect weather conditions to deliver a refined end product.
The care and harvest are taken care by several small-scale farms of the Fedeconcagua Cooperative, which is one of the first cooperatives worldwide to produce Fair Traded certified coffee. Fedecocagua helps its members improve the quality and production of coffee and achieve higher prices, enabling farming families to earn more money and improve their living conditions. They also advocate for the rights of small-scale farmers and support education, healthcare, and opportunities for women of Aboriginal families.
Also stocked at The Culinary Collective, Sankt-Johannis-Mühlgasse, Nürnberg, Germany.
